Founder and International Natural Resource Executive, Anvanti Gold

Wade Cherwayko is an international natural resource executive with 35 years of invaluable experience and knowledge of the African sector where he has over the past 3 decades successfully negotiated, acquired, developed and financed significant oil, gas, mining and power projects (worth in excess of $2 Billion USD) in Africa. Mr Cherwayko was a co-founder of Tronic together with his business partner, Sir Sam Jonah, have acquired significant nickel, cobalt and manganese assets in Burundi, Cameroon and Tanzania. Mr Cherwayko was the Founder and CEO of Signet Petroleum, an African focused oil and gas exploration company, which held exploration assets in 4 African countries. Signet sold its Namibian exploration asset to Shell in 2014 for USD $95 million and based on Signet initial seismic acquisitions and play-type generation, Shell had the significant Graff discovery, which opened up the Orange Basin and several new discoveries. Mr Cherwayko also founded and was a Major Shareholder of Mart Resources Inc. Mart and Midwestern worked together on the development of the Umusadege oil field offshore in Nigeria. Mr Cherwayko successfully over saw the project and developed the field to producing 35,000 barrels of oil per day with reserves of 80 million barrels. Mart Resources was sold in 2016. Mr Cherwayko was also the co-founder of Centurion Energy, which was a North African focused oil and gas development and production company, which was sold on 2009 to Dana Gas from the UAE for $950 million. Wade has also acquired and invested in several large mining companies and projects in Africa including an earlier investor in Uramin Ltd, a Namibian focused uranium exploration company that sold to Areva for $2.4 Billion. Mr Cherwayko was also an early investor in Cobalt 27, West African Minerals and he was the founder of Avanti Gold, which is developing a large 3+ million Oz gold project in the DRC.
