Vusumuzi is a Mining Engineer with a BSc. Mining Engineering degree from the University of Witwatersrand and an MBA from GIBS Business School. He gained extensive experienced in the mining industry having worked in the gold, platinum and coal mining industry for several years prior to moving to development and corporate finance. He is currently a seasoned development and corporate finance professional focusing on the mining and metals sector, in South Africa and the rest of the African continent. He has demonstrable experience in assisting mining and metals businesses raise capital for start-ups, expansions and/or acquisitions. He is well-versed in structuring of debt finance, project finance, equity finance and in structuring BBBEE deals for mining and metals companies.
