Joshua Mochumi is the Founder and Principal of Sankofa Capital Advisory, a South African specialist mining investment firm focused on Critical Minerals and Precious Metals. His work focuses on addressing the “Missing Middle” between promising African mining projects and institutional bankability through development capital, active ownership, strategic partnerships and capital mobilisation.

Joshua brings experience across financial services, business development, investment origination and private capital. He is particularly interested in strengthening the connection between junior miners, private equity, development finance institutions, strategic investors and offtakers, while supporting greater African participation and ownership across the mining value chain.
