Test results from the Mushima North Copper-Zinc Project in Zambia reveal significant silver and cobalt deposits, marking a major discovery for Tertiary Minerals.
The UK-based exploration and production firm has announced that drill samples submitted for analysis confirmed high-grade concentrations of cobalt, copper, zinc and silver. Patrick Cheetham, Executive Chairman of Tertiary Minerals, described the find as "an exciting grassroots discovery."
He noted the potential for additional commercially viable deposits as more samples are analyzed, with one drill hole showing silver mineralization extending at least 1.3 km.
Tertiary Minerals holds a 90% stake in the Mushima North Project, with the remaining 10% owned by the government of Zambia.
